Materials

This time we decided to use more reliable materials for our installation, so it would be easier to give it a professional look.

So far we are planning to use wood for outer part and acrylic plastic for inner part.

The lower part of our installation we are planing to make from hard wood provided by school so it will decrease our expenses. And for the top part we may use the thin wood for laser cutting machine, since we only few sheets it won’t be expensive as well.

For the acrylic plastic we checked the shop  and this will be our main budget for the materials. We are planning to make our “crystals” from the acrylic and it can be pricey depending on how much we need it.

For now the next step is to make a construction drawings and calculate how much of every material do we need.
