Researching technical possibilities

Along with Vasil, I started thinking about how we are going to sense people around the objects and with what sensors they’re going to change the music. Our first idea was to use a IR distance sensor, however the IR sensor has a quite small measuring distance. A PIR was also not feasible as it can mostly detect if a person is in range, but not have close or far. For distance detection we finally decided on using a ultrasonic sensors that are arranged in 4 directions around the object. For the music changing interaction was decided on maybe using gestures and a x/y touch panel. There is also the question of how everything is going to be wired and how many arduinos we actually need.
