The moment we got familiar with each other we started eagerly to brainstorm on a concept. We had received help from the teachers trying different methods: starting from things we like about the city and we don’t. Which resulted in us coming up with new ideas. Personally I wanted to do something music related as well as artistic. However we all had different goals in mind.
In the end we agreed on a AR game, however we were not definte about it yet, as there was still room for improvement.
On our second brainstorming session, it seemed that most of the team wanted to stick to an installation related to music. Together with the team, I started looking out for some inspiration or any resembling musical interactive installations. I took in consideration that we wanted to target the 2 basic human senses: hearing and touching. Thus while searching I came across this .
What we had in mind was having multiple installations which would play music when detecting movement and allow the user to freely change the volume and type. An installation which could be played by both one or multiple people.
